Darn socks!

(To extend the life of your foot wear)Here's one over loved SmartWool sock saved from unwearability that I darned with grey embroidery thread.  Can barely see the repair (I'm so proud).Here's where I was going to write "So, darning your own socks is one awesome underused traditional task that's super easy to do - here's how!"  And then I'd put a link, because, of course, oodles of people must have already posted sock darning tutorials, right?So I searched for how to darn socks. Eek!  There's bad intel out there!  WikiHow FAIL.  3 out of 4 "tutorials" are wrong. But this lady's got it, and this YouTube video.  Pick your sock darning teachers wisely!
