RIP little brown hen

I found a dead body in the Silkie coop. At first I thought it was a developing cockerel and wondered the cause.Only later I realized who was missing- the little brown mama :(A shame, she was such a good little mother, but I guess it was her time to go. I don't even know how old she was.She certainly went out in a blaze of progeny...
