Days out

It´s so nice and sunny so many days now, and the ground is exposed, so the hens are getting open-door days!  Spring time!When I come around, they always pout at me through the screen door:When I open the door they pop out like corks but mill around the door, tentative.It's so nice to see them outside, in the sunshine.In no time, they'll be sprinting down the path to the house, like the last one there is a rotten egg.
