Chicken trap

I caught a chicken!I had the raccoon trap set up for a couple of days (two raccoons down-no damage incurred-different story).  The chickens ignored the trap.Then HW came in from closing the coops last night and asked "So do you want the trap set again?  Should I bait it with an egg?"Me: "Isn´t it set?  What do you mean? It was set an hour ago!"HW:  "Oh yeah?  It was set an hour ago?"Then he showed me the picture.And I laughed, and laughed.  When he let her out she "took off" for the coop.But there had been a cracked egg in the trap - the bait.No trace remained of the egg.  I bet she thoroughly enjoyed that, eating it all to herself with no competition.  It was probably worth it.
