worms!

I've entered the world of vermiculture with the entrance of a handful of red wigglers!I was given a starter batch of worms - an intergenerational batch, with eggs, and newborn worms like tiny threads - and put them in their new worm home.  They seem happy. That is, when I rummage around to see them, they look like they were just busy doing something.They are very light shy, so as soon as they are exposed, they plunge, and since they're nice and warm, they move very quickly, and all I generally see is a mass of tails whisking out of sight.HW says that I can't mix my pets now.  The worms won't do so well around the chickens.
