Happy Harvest Blog
Early observations of Nova Scotia.
We’ve been soaking up our new province as we drive around (so far our opinions of the culture are mostly based on the view from the road). I’m in love with it. Everyone has gardens. Everyone has clotheslines. Nova Scotia’s waste management system is the envy of the world.
We are here!
A few days after my 40th birthday we finally arrived at our Nova Scotia property, to stay. Another project is about to be begin. A new list is about to be written.
Nova Scotia I: Where to begin?
The house is a disaster of garbage. There is no glass and are no screens, and the floors are covered with disintegrating debris that used to be clothing and bedding and paper, etc. There are numerous boots, too, and a few ice skates. None of them seem to match up. The drywall is rotting on the walls, the roof is breached, and the whole thing is tipping, drifting sideways off the dubious “foundation” points.

I may not make a blog post every day, but at least I Insta.
